Aikido of Sebastopol – Membership & Auto-Billing Policy
1. Membership Structure
Aikido of Sebastopol uses simple monthly memberships to provide consistent training opportunities and support the ongoing operations of the dojo. Membership grants access to all regularly scheduled adult classes unless otherwise specified.
2. Monthly Auto-Billing
All memberships are set up with automatic monthly billing.
Billing occurs on the same date each month (the date of your initial enrollment).
Payment methods accepted: credit card or debit card.
You will receive a billing confirmation email each month.
3. Canceling Membership
To cancel your membership:
Send written notice (email is fine) at least 7 days before your next billing date.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
There are no refunds for unused classes within a billing cycle.
4. Missed Classes
Because classes are offered on an ongoing basis and membership is not class-by-class:
Missed classes do not roll over.
There are no credits, refunds, or prorated adjustments for missed sessions.
5. Uniform & Safety Requirements
Members are expected to wear a clean uniform (gi) once purchased.
Jewelry and watches must be removed before training.
Fingernails and toenails should be kept trimmed for safety.

6. Conduct & Dojo Etiquette
Membership requires following dojo etiquette, safety practices, and respectful behavior. In rare cases where etiquette or safety violations occur, the dojo reserves the right to end a membership.
7. Changes to Membership Rates or Policies
If membership rates or policies change, members will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
